Korg KPR-77
Another drum machine in my workshop, where my task was to install a MIDI interface in the form of a ready-made module designed by hka design. Since the installation instructions for this expansion turned out to be quite straightforward, the installation itself also presented no major difficulties, although it did require some mechanical modification. As a result, the machine gained new functionality.
While working on it, I also removed the damaged R-14 batteries and the leaked electrolyte. I replaced the power socket as well, since it had become corroded (once again due to the electrolyte) and no longer provided reliable electrical contact.
