Korg Karma
This time, on the workbench is a Korg Karma — a remarkable instrument which, due to its age, required replacement of all the control panel’s TACT micro-switches. The replacement itself turned out to be quite laborious, as, first of all, as many as 60 micro-switches had to be changed, and secondly, the instrument features a rather complex internal architecture consisting of a large number of connectors, circuit boards, and chassis components. In addition, the interior of the synthesizer and its front panel were thoroughly cleaned.
