Art SGX 2000
The main issues with this effects processor were unwanted hum on the audio outputs and in the send/return loops, as well as a partially non-functional control panel. As part of the repair, the following work was carried out:
- the alphanumeric display was replaced with a fully compatible equivalent,
- the ribbon cables connecting the control panel to the mainboard were replaced,
- solder joints around the audio inputs and outputs were reworked,
- the mounting of power and shielding cables was improved,
- the circuit connecting the grounding wire to the chassis was modified,
- some electrolytic capacitors in the power supply circuit were replaced.
