This effects processor service included repair of the LCD display, or more precisely, replacement of the IDC ribbon connecting the device panel to the main board (with sockets). Unfortunately, the original mounting of the device’s control panel PCB to the chassis was insufficient. As a result, operation of the adjustment potentiometers causes gradual degradation of the display connector, leading to its malfunction. As part of the repair, this mounting has also been improved.
